U.S. Tax Preparation – Full Job Description (1040, 1120, 1065)
Responsible for preparing and reviewing U.S. federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships in accordance with IRS rules and regulations. Experienced in handling various tax forms, including Form 1040 (Individual Tax Returns), Form 1120 (C-Corporation Tax Returns), and Form 1065 (Partnership Tax Returns).
Key responsibilities include collecting and reviewing financial documents, analyzing income and expenses, calculating taxable income, identifying eligible deductions and tax credits, and ensuring the accuracy of tax calculations. Preparing individual tax returns using W-2s, 1099s, investment statements, and other supporting documents. Handling corporate tax returns by reviewing financial statements, business income, expenses, and deductions. Preparing partnership tax returns by analyzing partnership income, expenses, distributions, and Schedule K-1 information.
