Customer Relationship Manager – U.S. Taxation
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) with a strong understanding of U.S. Taxation to join our growing tax team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between clients and our tax professionals, ensuring smooth communication, exceptional service delivery, and long-term client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding U.S. tax preparation, filing updates, and service inquiries.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing timely, transparent, and professional communication.

Understand client needs, gather necessary tax documents, and coordinate with the internal tax preparation team for accurate and timely filings.

Guide clients through the tax return process, explaining documentation requirements, timelines, and status updates.

Ensure client satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and maintaining clear, solution-oriented communication.

Maintain and update client records, correspondence, and filing statuses within CRM systems or tax software tools.

Collaborate closely with the tax team to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with U.S. federal and state tax laws.

Assist in onboarding new clients, explaining available tax services, and promoting value-added solutions.

Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up to ensure clients meet document submission and filing requirements.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the client experience and service efficiency.

Support business growth by identifying cross-selling or referral opportunities based on client profiles.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a Client Relationship Manager, Account Manager, or Customer Success Specialist — preferably within a U.S. taxation, accounting, or financial services environment.

Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state tax filing processes, including key forms (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, etc.).

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset.

Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously.

Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and document management tools.

Experience working with Drake Tax Software, TaxSlayer, or similar tax platforms is a plus.

High attention to detail, professionalism, and strong organizational skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
